Pedro Arrupe SJ, founded, out of compassion,
the Jesuit Refugee Sevice (JRS),
on 14th November 1980.
Education has been the strongest feature of JRS services
from the very early days. JRS is now
embarking on a project for higher
education for refugees in collaboration
with Jesuit universities.
